Stay healthy eating this low carb cauliflower crust:

One of the greatest gripes that many people have with pizza is that it is extremely high in carbohydrates. If you’re on a low-carb diet you just can’t enjoy a good slice of pizza. If you want to stay healthy and eat low-carb, finding an alternative is crucial. Cauliflower pizza crust is made up of just six ingredients and it can help satisfy any type of pizza craving with significantly lower calories and less carbs.
To get started with the cauliflower crust, you need just have to head of cauliflower diced up into the size of rice, using a food processor is best for this. Sautee the thinly diced cauliflower until it’s translucent. You can mince up one clove of garlic and then at a full cup of shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix together the cauliflower with your seasonings and add a teaspoon of oregano and a teaspoon of basil. In a separate bowl, beat an egg until it’s whisked together and add it to the dry mixture. Knead together the mixture until it forms a strong dough. This will be the base for your pizza which you can then cook up before you prepare your toppings.
Grease a cookie sheet with spray or oil, add the dough mixture until it’s around a quarter of an inch thick. Cook only the crust for 25 to 30 min. at 400°C. Remove the crust from the oven and top the pizza down with a series of toppings. Broil the pizza for around 5 min. to cook the toppings and make sure that the pizza has at least 3 min. to cool before you cut and serve it.
The surprising part about this recipe is that it can produce a pizza that is between 50 to 80 cal per slice. When compared to traditional flower pizza, we see a much healthier alternative!
